The Surcharge Wizard makes it easy to update surcharges on multiple rate charts at once.

This article will show you how to setup and use the Surcharge Wizard to make updating multiple Surcharge Rate Charts a quick and simple process.

The Items found in the Surcharge Rate charts, found in the Maintenance Rate Charts, are what Surcharges uses for their calculations.

This is a breakdown of the Surcharge Wizard by section

1. Select the Item to be updated from the dropdown menu.
   1. These Items are found within the Surcharge Charts (Image
2. Select the Order Type(s) with in the Surcharges that need to be updated.
3. Select the Rate Chart(s) with the Order Types to be updated.
4. Choose the Items to be used for calculation – This is what the Surcharges take into consideration for charging. In other words, every Item selected will charge the rate given based upon that Item for a higher surcharge.
5. These are the times in which the Surcharges are in effect.
6. Input the price rating and define if it is percent or dollar amount.
7. Double check that the settings are correct and press Next

Upon review of the Stand Order Rate Chart of the Special Run Surcharge Rate Chart, we see that it will rate based on the information in the Surcharge Wizard.
