Stop consolidation can be done automatically, based on time windows and addresses, or drivers can manually consolidate. In the Stops List, the number of stops consolidated displays on the left.
When stops are consolidated automatically, the stops' addresses must match exactly (including any spaces), Forced Location Scan must be set to “None”, and times must match or overlap based on the following criteria:
If stop 1 starts at or before stop 2, stop 1 must end during, at, or after stop 2 ends.
If stop 1 starts after stop 2 starts, stop 1 must end before or after stop 2 ends.
From the menu, go to Settings.
Select Stops Workflow.
Toggle the Automatic Stops Consolidation to the right. It will be green when enabled.
Optional: Toggle Type Consolidation to the right to merge stops based on time window, address, and stop type such as a pickup or delivery. It will be green when enabled.
From the menu, go to Settings.
Select Stops Workflow.
Toggle the Manually Consolidate Stops to the right. It will be green when enabled.
Tap the menu in the top left and select Stops List.
On the bottom right, tap the green options menu.
Select Create New Consolidated Stop.
Tap the stops to be consolidated. A check will appear on the left of the selected stops.
On the bottom right tap Consolidate.
If consolidating stops with different location name or addresses, the Stops List displays the location name and address of the first stop selected.

From the Stops List, tap on the consolidation you would like to add to.
Tap the green options menu on the bottom right.
Select Add Stops to Consolidation.
Tap the stops you would like to consolidate.
On the bottom right tap Consolidate.
From the Stops List, tap on the consolidation you would like to remove from.
Tap the green options menu on the bottom right.
Select Remove Stops from Consolidation.
Tap the stops to be removed from the consolidation.
On the bottom right tap Deconsolidate.
Adding status codes to a consolidation at the stop level attaches the status codes to all the stops in the consolidated list. Drivers can delete status codes from individual stops.
Quick Tip: When adding status codes in a consolidated stop at the stop level, status codes will be added to the stop only when available for that stop's customer. |

You can add accessorial items to selected stops in the consolidation or all to all stops in the consolidation.

Adding attachments to a consolidation will add the attachment to all the stops in the consolidation. You can delete attachments from individual stops.

You can scan or manually enter parcels. Scans of expected parcels on stops that are consolidated inside Nextstop will parse to the correct stop. When an overage is scanned, the driver will be asked which of the consolidated stops it should be paired with.
