Depots are selected on contract stops and appear as facilities in Nextstop, allowing multiple users to scan parcels at the same receive stop. See Receiving in Nextstop 3.

Go to Maintenance > Depots.

How to Add a New Depot

  1. Go to Maintenance > Depot.
  2. Click the  button.

Alternate steps:

  1. Click the arrow next to the New button, or press the N key.
  2. Click Depot.

How to Edit a Depot

  1. Go to Maintenance > Depot.
  2. Double-click the parcel you would like to edit.

How to Delete a Depot 

  1. Go to Maintenance > Depot.
  2. Double-click the depot you would like to delete.
  3. Click the Delete button at the bottom of the form.

Depot Form

 

Field NameDescription
IDUnique numerical ID. Once the ID is set when creating a new depot, it cannot be edited.
Depot NameThe name of the depot used when selecting a depot in X Dispatch or facility in Nextstop. 
Display CodeA reference field. This field is not used in X Dispatch.
Search Address Book

Use this search field to search and add an address for the depot. See Addresses (Desktop Operations App).

Use the + to add a new address.


Address

The physical address of the depot. This field is visible once you have added or selected an address.
