Recurring order confirmation warnings provide a way to alert dispatchers in the event that a recurring order with a driver assigned to the order before posting is not marked as “Confirmed” by the assigned driver within the specified time frame. If the recurring order driver has not confirmed receipt of their recurring order once posted, the same icon that is displayed on the dispatch board when an on-demand order is not confirmed by the driver is displayed for the recurring order. This warning icon is helpful for the dispatcher to take action and investigate why a confirmation update from the driver has not occurred.

How to Enable Recurring Order Confirmation Warning

Enabling the recurring order confirmation warning that displays the warning icon  on the dispatch board when a driver has not confirmed the order is done on the order type before the recurring order is posted.

  1. Go to Maintenance > Order Types and select an Order Type to update. See Order Types (Classic Operations App).

  2. On the General tab select one of the three settings available:

  3. Click OK to save and close the form.

While on the Dispatch board, if an order type is opened and a change is made to the Recurring Order Confirmation Warning, it will show until you exit and re-enter the Dispatch board to load the new settings.

Viewing the Confirmation Warning Icon

When the Recurring Order Confirmation Warning option is enabled, the warning icon is displayed on the Dispatch Board in the P/U In column on the Active Orders grid and also next to the Driver ID in the Driver column of the Active Driver grid if a recurring order that meets the conditions for a warning is present.
