How to Sort the Dispatch Board by Customer Priority

The dispatch board is a very versatile environment that lets you sort data in almost any fashion, including sorting by the priority column. Sorting the dispatch board can increase productivity and help give visibility to particular customers and orders.

Customer Setup

Sorting by priority is helpful when customers are given a Dispatch Priority, the value used to sort the On-Demand Dispatch board by priority. You can select between 1-10. If no number is selected, the default priority is set to 0, the highest priority. See Customers

Dispatch Board Setup

To sort by Priority, select, drag, and drop the Priority column to the left of the dispatch board.

The Cust (aka customer ID) and LocalName (aka customer name) fields on the dispatch board are colored based on Dispatch Priority.

  • 0 - Black

  • 1 - Green

  • 2 - Blue

  • 3 - Magenta

  • 4 - Cyan

  • 5 through 10 - Red
