New Vehicle
"Vehicles" are available within the "Maintenance" section of "X Dispatch."
To create a "New Vehicle", click the "New" button while in "Maintenance -> Vehicles" or select "Vehicle" from the "New" drop down list anywhere within "X Dispatch." First, enter a "Vehicle ID" number. This is an arbitrary identifier that merely has to be unique compared to other "Vehicles." Once a Vehicle has been saved to the database, you cannot change its "Vehicle ID." At this point, it is possible to save the "Vehicle" by clicking apply or OK. However, the "Vehicle" will not appear in the list unless you select a class for it. It is also recommended to enter a display Description for the Vehicle.
Once those required fields are entered, you can click the "Apply" or "OK" buttons to save the "Vehicle" into the database. If you are editing an existing "Vehicle,"it will instead save any changes.
