Enable Recurring Order Confirmation Warning

Enabling the Recurring Order Confirmation Warning that displays the  warning icon on the dispatch board when a driver has not confirmed the order is done on the Order Type before the Recurring order is posted.

To set the Recurring Order Confirmation Warning for an Order Type, follow the steps below:

  • In X Dispatch navigate to Maintenance > Order Types and select an Order Type to update.  
  • On the General tab select one of the three settings available: 
    • Never:  By default, all Order Types are se to to "Never" and no warning is ever displayed.  
    • After 5 Minutes:  This option displays the warning icon 5 minutes after the Recurring Order is posted with a driver pre-assigned.
    • After Pickup Warning Time: This selection will depend on the time entered in the Pickup warning time field (see image below). Once the settings are configured to have a Confirmation Warning, the same caution triangle icon from the Dispatch board is displayed when a Recurring Order has not been marked as Confirmed by the driver.
    • Other scenarios:
      • If the Pickup Ready Time is moved to something that is in the future (e.g. the ReadyTimeFrom is noon, and the time is 1:00 PM, then the order is edited and the ReadyTimeFrom is updated to 4:00 PM, outside of the Pickup Warning Time), the warning icon is no longer displayed.
      • If the Pickup Ready Time is moved to something that is after the ReadyTimeFrom (e.g. the ReadyTimeFrom is noon, and the time is 11:00 AM, then the order is edited and the ReadyTimeFrom is updated to 4:00 PM), the warning icon is displayed.
  • Click OK to save and close the form. 

Note

While on the Dispatch board, if an Order Type is opened and a change is made to the Recurring Order Confirmation Warning, exit and re-enter the Dispatch board to load the new settings.

Viewing the Confirmation Warning Icon

When the Recurring Order Confirmation Warning option is enabled, if a Recurring Order, that meets the conditions for a warning is present, the icon is displayed on the Dispatch Board.  The icon displays in the P/U In field on the Orders pane and also next to the driver ID in the Driver pane. The below image displays an order that meets the above-listed criteria.
