The Depot Scan form allows you to quickly mark orders as picked up by scanning their barcodes. Each barcode you scan will be matched to an order and the order marked as picked up. Additionally, the barcodes will be printed on the form along with messages indicating success or failure in marking the orders as picked up.

  1. From X Dispatch navigate to Route > Dispatch.
  2. Right click on the route and click Depot Scan.
  3. Enter Comment will be stored in the scan records for the orders scanned. 

  4. Click the OK button to continue.
  5. The Depot Scanning form will display. 

    • Once you have begun scanning, the barcodes will be printed in the text box as they are scanned, as well as messages indicating the results of the scan.
    • Pressing a key on the keyboard brings up the Enter Barcode to Find form, which allows you to search for a barcode within the list of results, in order to view the messages printed for it. 

The depot scan will mark the order picked up unless the order was already marked picked up at an earlier time. In addition to marking the order picked up it also records the depot scan time when the item was at the office and will additionally mark the order confirmed if it was not confirmed at an earlier time.
