On an X Route manifest stops can be manually dragged and dropped into different locations on the same route, or onto different routes.   As of version 12.0.3 multiple stops can even be moved from one route to another.  Even with such useful capabilities, resequencing stops on a long route with many stops by dragging and dropping can be time consuming.  A useful tool exists called "Sequence Route" that can be used to quickly resequence route stops by simply changing their stop number.  Adjustments can be made and changed, and made again until the final route sequencing is completed.  When changes are completed, they are saved and route is resequenced.  Follow steps below to learn how to use the "Sequence Route" tool.

How to Change the Stop Sequence Using "Sequence Route" Tool

  1. Open a route manifest and select "Sequence Route" from "Tools" menu. (Note the current sequence of the four stops on route ABC123.)

  2. Original stop sequence numbers are shown, however they can be edited with different numeric values.

  3. Stops shown have been updated with new sequences.

  4. When completed with changes use one the following four options.

    1. Refresh - Updates manifest display with new changes.  Confirmation displays confirming changes.

    2. OK - Updates and saved routes, and closes "Sequence Route" window.

    3. Cancel - Displays confirmation window from which changes can be saved or cancelled.

    4. Apply - Saves changes to route and leaves "Sequence Route" window open. Press "OK" when done.
  5. When "Sequence Route" usage is completed after pressing "OK," stop sequencing changes are reflected in manifest.
