Application Suite Compatibility Requirements

Configuring the proper hardware, network, and computing environment are extremely important for a stable and reliable experience using CXT Software products. Please review the details below to ensure your computing resources meet the minimum requirements.

Cloud Operations App


Operations App

Operations app users require the current version, or one previous version, of the following available web browsers:

  • Chrome

  • Safari

  • Firefox

  • Edge

  • Opera

Bandwidth Considerations

A minimum of 128 Kbps bandwidth per remote session and business grade internet service with at least 10Mbs Up/Down is suggested for optimal performance.

Mobile Dispatching

While the Operations App can be used on a mobile device, not ALL functionality is mobile friendly yet. Access to the Operations App on a PC is recommended. Mobile Dispatch

Classic Operations App

  • Microsoft Windows 7 (SP1), 8, 10, 11

  • .NET Framework 3.5 with Service Pack 1 (link)

As a best practice, we do not recommend using "beta" or "preview" versions of Microsoft Windows

Hardware

  • Intel® or AMD x86-x64

  • 20 MB available disk space

The Classic Operations App can be accessed from a Mac and/or Chromebook using the Windows App, but connecting to the Cloud environment without the use of the Cloud Client does not negate operating system requirements. Please note that Remote Desktop Clients (RDP) are not created by CXT Software and our Technical Support team can only provide limited assistance in attempting to resolve problems with these applications.
