How frequently does Nextstop collect GPS in the foreground?
For both iOS and Android, if the driver does not move and the app is in the foreground, a ping approximation will be collected every 5 mins. If the time stamp for the newest ping is greater than or equal to 5 mins past, the last ping it will be synced with X Dispatch. If the driver is moving, a ping will be collected according to the Mobile Options Set setting for "GPS significant change" (default value is 50 feet). See Mobile Option Sets (Classic Operations App).
How frequently does Nextstop collect GPS in the background?

How far does a mobile device have to move before Nextstop refreshes GPS?
A request is sent every 40 meters (131 feet), however, this is not guaranteed and is up to the mobile OS. This is not configurable.
If low battery settings are enabled, is GPS collection affected?
This is controlled by the mobile OS.
How often does Nextstop send collected GPS data to X Dispatch?
The frequency of when Nextstop will sync GPS pings to X Dispatch is dependant on the Mobile Options Set setting for "GPS significant change" (default value is 50 feet). See Mobile Option Sets (Classic Operations App).
How many GPS posts can Nextstop store before it must post them?
Nextstop stores a max of 250 GPS coordinates, and randomly replaces older ones with newer ones.
