How to Fix Rapidship Page Not Loading

Affecting X Dispatch 18.1.2



If the below error is displayed, locate the browser type below and follow the instructions provided.  If this error is displayed when trying to load Rapidship, the web browser's Service Worker for Rapidship needs to be unregistered.



Chrome

  1. Close any open Rapidship pages.
  2. Navigate to this URL in the Chrome Browser:  chrome://serviceworker-internals/
  3. This will load a list of Registered Service Workers.  Find the one for Rapidship. 

  4. If it is running, click Stop, and then click Unregister to remove it.

  5. After clicking the Unregister button, the service worker entry will disappear. 

  6. Close Chrome, reopen it, and try to load the Rapidship login page again.


Firefox

  1. To bring up the list of Service Workers, type the following into the Firefox browser address bar: about:debugging#workers
  2. If the Rapidship service worker is running, click the Stop link in the line that begins Status.
  3. Click the Unregister link next to the Service Worker that corresponds with the Rapidship URL.

  4. After the service worker has been removed, restart your browser and reload Rapidship.


Microsoft Edge

  1. Microsoft has published the following documentation on stopping and unregistering Service Workers
  2. Follow the steps in the link below to unregister the Rapidship Service Worker.

  3. Restart the browser and reload Rapidship.


Opera

  1. Open the Opera Browser.
  2. Click Ctrl-Shift-i to open Developer Tools. 
  3. Click the Application tab, then click Service Workers in the left-hand bar.
  4. Expand the section called Service workers from other domains and find the Rapidship URL in the list. 
  5. Click stop if the service worker is started, and then click Unregister to remove it.

  6. After unregistering the service worker, restart the browser and reload Rapidship.
