For driver documentation see Overage Defaults.

Driver(s) must have the “Overage Defaults” mobile option enabled.

  • To allow all or a group of drivers to set overage defaults, go Maintenance > Mobile Option Sets. See Mobile Option Sets.

  • To allow specific drivers to set overage defaults, go to Maintenance > Mobile Users. See Mobile Users.

Overage defaults will override the default weight, length, width, and height values from the Parcel Types or the Mobile Option Sets section of X Dispatch that is automatically entered. The Overage Defaults screen allows the driver to enter default information that will be added to any overage parcel scanned in Nextstop. When an overage default is not set, the driver will be required to enter information for each overage scanned or entered manually.

How to Edit Overages Adjusting Orders and/or Stops

You can set up whether or not a scanned overage will be applied to an order and/or stop in the Global Options Mobile tab and driver need “Allow updates to pieces and weight from parcel scans” enabled on their driver record.
