Route Surcharge Adjustments

In X Route, it's possible to setup one item that can be used as a surcharge.  More often than not, this item will be set as the Fuel Surcharge.

We've designed X Route to be flexible enough to guarantee that every routed job charges your customer the correct surcharge amount.

As is the case with many options in the system, the Route Surcharge is set globally and adjusted at on the micro level to ensure that each run has the proper surcharge associated with it.

The global surcharge percentage (the base percent that all other adjustments will be reflected upon) is located in Options >X Route:

Now that the global surcharge percentage has been set, it can be adjusted at a number of levels in the application:

Customers

The global surcharge can be adjusted at the customer level so that all route surcharges for that customer will calculate according to the adjustment made on the customer's accounting tab (assuming that the surcharge is not adjusted on the contract/contract stop level):

Route surcharge adjustments can also be made on the route contract level:
