Route Surcharge Adjustments
It is possible to set up one item as a route surcharge. Usually, this item will be set as the "Fuel Surcharge". When a global route surcharge percentage is set up, it is the percentage amount that will be the base for all other adjustments. Once this is set up it can be adjusted in various locations in the Operations App.
Global
You can set or edit the global Surcharge Item and Surcharge Percent in the X Route tab of the Global Options. See Global Options.
To add a new Surcharge Item option, create a new item. See Items.
The Surcharge Percent will be the base amount for surcharge adjustments made at any level.
Adjusted Route Surcharge
Quick Tip: Entering a positive surcharge adjustment will increase the calculated global surcharge, and entering a negative amount would decrease it,
Customers
Surcharge adjustments can be made on a customer level in the Accounting tab's Route Surcharge Adjustment % field. The Calculated %(Including Global) displays the calculated route surcharge amount for the customer, assuming there are no other surcharge adjustments made on the contract(s) or contract stop(s). Contracts
On the contract level, surcharge adjustments can be set on the Contract Info tab's Surcharge Adjustment % field. The Calculated Surcharge % displays the calculated route surcharge for the contract, assuming there are no other adjustments on a contract stop. See Contracts.
Contract Stops
The last level where route surcharge adjustments can be made is the Surcharge Adjustment % field on a contract stop. See Contract Stops - New / Edit Contract Stops.
