Client Portal Options

Client Portal (Rapidship) options are both global and internet user based, which allow you to customize the user experience.

Address Validation

Enforce Address Validation

When Enforce address validation is enabled, all addresses in the Client Portal must be validated. This includes entering addresses into the address book, or when placing an order.

To enable or disable this option, from the Classic Operations App navigate to Options. On the Internet Options tab’s Orders section, you can click the dropdown menu to Enforce Addr Validation. See Global Options.

Allow Map Validation

The internet user option Allow Map Based Validation allows the user to manually find the address with a map and pushpin. 

To enable or disable this option, from the Classic Operations App navigate to Maintenance > Internet Users. Double click on the user, check to enable or uncheck to disable Allow Map Based Validation. See Internet Users (Classic Operations App).

To enable or disable this option, from the Operations App navigate to Maintenance > Internet Users. Double click on the user, go to the Options tab and check to enable or uncheck to disable Allow Map Based Validation. See Internet Users.

Display Rates

To enable or disable this option, from Classic Operations App navigate to Maintenance > Internet Users. Double click on the user, and toggle Hide Rates. See Internet Users (Classic Operations App).

To enable or disable this option, from Operations App navigate to Maintenance > Internet Users. Click on the user, go to the Options tab and toggle Show Rates. See Internet Users.

Complete Route Stops

Internet users can complete stops online and enter the POD, completion date, and completion time.

To enable or disable this option, from the Classic Operations App navigate to Maintenance > Internet Users. Double click on the user, check to enable or uncheck to disable the View Route Stops and Modify Route Stops options. See Internet Users (Classic Operations App).
