Edit Broadcast Messages
Broadcast messages can be used to display messages in the Classic Operations App and your Client Portal.
How to Add a Broadcast Message
Go to Action in the main menu and select Edit Broadcast Messages...
Select the type of broadcast message you would like to add.
Click Add.
Enter your message and click OK.
For X Dispatch and X Internet messages
For Client Portal messages
How to Edit a Broadcast Message
Go to Action in the main menu and select Edit Broadcast Messages...
Select the type of broadcast message you would like to edit.
Select the broadcast message you would like to edit and click Edit.
How to Delete a Broadcast Message
Go to Action in the main menu and select Edit Broadcast Messages...
Select the type of broadcast message you would like to delete.
Select the broadcast message you would like to delete and click Remove.
Broadcast Messages Form for the Client Portal
Field Name | Description |

Editing Text | Message to be displayed in the Client Portal. Quick Tip: You can display clickable URL links, phone numbers, and/or email addresses.
Users clicking on these links must have a phone or email client on their device. |
Message Type | The selected type of message to be displayed.

Always Display Message | When checked, Client Portal users will not be able to close the broadcast message. The message will remain displayed until the message has been deleted. When unchecked, Client Portal users will be able to close and remove the message from view during the log in session. |
Broadcast Messages in the Classic Operations App
Broadcast messages are displayed scrolling at the bottom of the Classic Operations App or can be viewed in a window by going to View > Broadcast Messages in the top menu.
Broadcast Messages in the Client Portal
Broadcast messages in the Client Portal are displayed as a pop up in the top right corner when the user logs in.
