Stop types are used to define and/or group the type of contract or route stop.Ā 

Stop types are set up inĀ Maintenance >Ā Stop Types.

Field NameDescriptionĀ 
TypeThe type of stop.
IDThe ID of the stop type. This is automatically assigned and cannot be edited.
DescriptionThe description of the stop type.

How to Add a Stop Type

  1. Go toĀ MaintenanceĀ >Ā Stop Type.
  2. Click theĀ Ā button.

Alternate Steps

  1. Click the arrow next to theĀ NewĀ button, or pressĀ AltĀ +Ā NĀ keys.Ā 
  2. SelectĀ Stop Type.

How to Edit aĀ Stop Type

For stop types within the restricted range of 0-6 and 99, only the Description field can be edited.

  1. Go toĀ MaintenanceĀ >Ā Stop Type.

  2. Click the stop type you would like to edit or right-click the row and selectĀ Edit.Ā 

    The right-click menu optionĀ Open in New WindowĀ will open the edit form in a window that can be moved around.

How to Delete aĀ Stop Type

Stop types within the restricted range of 0-6 and 99 cannot be deleted.

  1. Go toĀ MaintenanceĀ >Ā Stop Type.Ā 

  2. Click the stop type you would like to delete.Ā 

  3. Click theĀ Ā button.Ā 

Section Functions

Customize Grid Layout 

You can customize which columns you would like to view and arrange the order by clicking the Edit Grid Layout icon . 

Change View

Requires X Dispatch 19.1 or newer.

You can switch between a table view and a card view by clicking on the Card View icon  or Table View icon .

Zooming Settings

Requires X Dispatch 21.0 or newer.

You can zoom in or out of Next Dispatch pages in X Dispatch by right clicking on the page (other than on a card or table) and selecting Zoom In or Zoom Out, or use the Ctrl + or Ctrl - keys. 

Select

Use the checkbox at the beginning of each row, or at the top of each card, to select multiple records. 

Quick Tip

No more than 2 windows can be open or edited at a time.

Stop Types in X Dispatch

Stop types can be viewed and/or updated in contract stops and route stops in the X Route section of X Dispatch.

Contract Stop

Stop types can be found in theĀ Route Info tab of the contract stop form.

Route Stop

Stop types can be found in theĀ Location tab of the route stop form.
