Nextstop Mobile Options Webpage

For X Dispatch 17.0 or older. See here for newer versions.

The Nextstop's Mobile Options webpage allows an administrator to define, hide, limit, and set parameters that control the Nextstop Mobile (NSM) application. The administrator can edit settings such as the voice played when a driver is given an alert, how the workflow of stops and receiving are displayed, scanning settings, and overage defaults for unexpected parcels.

If this is your first time logging into the Nextstop Mobile Options webpage Please reset your Maintenance > Permissions > Web Access Password. You cannot access the Nextstop Mobile Options website without first resetting your password.

To better protect your organization from potential data breaches, we have recently implemented a more advanced type of password encryption. The Nextstop Mobile Options webpage specifically requires this new type of encryption when logging in, and we are unable to convert old encrypted passwords. For details on how to reset your Maintenance - Permissions - Web Access Password, please see the Login section below.  Should the "Login" word be anchored?  You usually do that, and it makes things easier for folks to jump around the doc as needed.

How to navigate to the Mobile Option site:

  • Cloud client, add your account number to the highlighted section and paste the following url into your browser: https://YOURACCOUNT#HERE0.xdhosted.com/MobileOptionSets/#/ then bookmark the url for future use (don't forget the '0' after your account ID!).
  • On-premise customers, there is a Mobile Options button in the Tools menu of X Dispatch that will launch the site.

Before a user can login to the NextStop Mobile Options webpage, your Permission is set in X Dispatch. If Permissions are setup for using X Tracking the User ID and Password are the same. To create a new Permission record or set a Password on an existing Permissions record navigate to either of the following articles: Users.

As mentioned above, each X Dispatch user's "Web Access" (formerly "X Tracking") password MUST be reset to access the Nextstop Mobile Options website, if the password was set before X Dispatch version 16.2. All users who intend to access the webpage MUST replace their existing password by typing a new password into the form's "Password" text entry field, then confirm the password by entering it again in the "Confirm Password" text entry field, then pressing the "OK" button (see screenshot below for the exact form in X Dispatch). Users cannot log into the Nextstop Mobile Options webpage until the password is reset.

After a user is created and a password is set in X Dispatch, that user can login to Mobile Options.
