How to Pair a Parcel

When scanning a parcel at a stop you can pair the parcel with another stop.   

The pairing workflow will only show for the driver if automated chaining in X Dispatch is not set up to chain parcels downstream. See Route Chaining.

Step-by-step guide

  1. From the Stop Info screen, tap the tile at the bottom of the screen (labeled Start, Pickup, Delivery, Exchange, etc.) as appropriate for the stop type. 

  2. Tap on the Scan button. 

  3. Scan your parcel.

  4. Select which stop you would like to pair the parcel with. 

    Requires Nextstop 2.4.5 or newer for sorting and searching the pair list.

How to Sort the Pair List

Click the menu icon  in the top left and select the Sort By option to sort the pair list.
