How to Customize the Orders/Routes/Drivers Grid on the Dispatch Board

The orders/routes grid consists of columns with information for each order/route. These columns can be resized and dragged and dropped to reorder. 

If users need to reference multiple layouts (for different work types, regions, etc.), a customized view can be saved using the right-click menu's "Save Layout" selection.  Once saved, the layout will be available to any user using the right-click menu's "Load Layout" selection. Cascading Sort Fields on the Active Orders and Active Routes Grid

The columns on the left side of the main screen control sorting and can be adjusted by moving a column header into the dark gray area at top of the screen. A maximum of five fields can be used for sorting.

To move a field to the sort area, hold the Ctrl key on your keyboard, click on the column header, and drag and drop it into position. The final location of the field is indicated by two small red triangles. New fields can be placed into any one of five available positions. 

Sort Columns on the Active Drivers Grid

Instead of being sorted by DriverID, the Active Drivers grid can be sorted by up to 5 columns. Right-click on the Active Drivers grid and select "Sort Fields" to select the columns/field names and how you would like to sort them.

Moving and Reordering Columns

You can reorder columns in a grid to group columns together to fit your needs. To move a column, hold the Ctrl key on your keyboard, click on the column header, and drag and drop it.

Adjusting Column Widths

You can make columns wider or narrower to view information. To change the width of a column, place the cursor at the end of the column you would like to adjust the width of. When you see the double arrow, click and drag until the column is the desired width.

Show/Hide Fields

You can select which fields, or columns, to show or hide for each grid.

  1. Right-click on the grid you would like to show/hide fields for and select "Show/Hide Order Fields"/"Show/Hide Route Fields"/"Show/Hide Driver Fields".

  2. A "Show Grids" form will display where you can check/uncheck the box for the fields you would like to display or click the "Check All" button to display all the fields.

  3. Click the "OK" button when done.
